The Grant Fund for Plock

This cross-sector project provides funds for student groups, community organisations, and NGOs to realise innovative projects that improve the quality of life in Plock. Since Plock’s engagement, the City of Plock has harnessed and developed activities that promoted good governance frameworks, specifically around the role of the public-private partnerships and the role of the private sector in urban and sustainable development. Plock is the only city in Central Eastern Europe to become part of Centre International de Formation des Autorites/Acteurs Locaux (CIFAL). CIFAL Plock represents one of the 10 CIFAL centres in the world. CIFAL Centres are a hub of capacity building and knowledge sharing that aim to strengthen the capabilities of decision-makers in sustainability and urban management related spheres.
